Venues: International    new

Song, Music, Dance, Poetry, Story:   Clubs • Concerts • Sings • Sessions • Ceilidhs

Folklife West's main areas are: Wales, South-West, West Midlands, Oxon.
Currently, most entries are from paying Folklife Members, and most are in those areas.

Since Lockdown & Zoom, some entries from other countries, mainly by personal contact,  so not full coverage, but all are welcome!

Our priority is our printed magazine Folklife West, so no time to research/contact all possible entries.
So, please tell folks to visit www.folklife-directory.uk  or contact sam@folklife.uk and we'll be happy to help.

Folk news international is currently online only, on www.folklife.uk/world.html
We have international Folklife members (= paid to subscribe to Folklife West print magazine), but none as yet
has requested
publicity - if publicity is requested, then this would be in print in FW as well as online.

We have Folklife members from Skye to Brussels!, but no significant circulation outside our main area (Wales; England West Country & West Midlands).
 . . . but
it might be worth joining Folklife (just £18 a year for 3 issues) in some circumstances:

-- for venues near to our area
-- for venues in popular holiday areas

-- for venues with something else to publicise eg a folk act, or a folk festival - we can publicise all your folk activities if you are a Folklife member
-- or if interested in our general articles on our "Folklife Traditions" pages, and in reading the whole magazine

    --  . . . or  to support us !
